About The Event
This Minneapolis School Board General Election Forum is being held on Thursday October 10, 6:30-8:00PM, with a Meet & Greet prior to the forum from 6:00-6:30pm at Roosevelt High School Auditorium, 4029 28th S, Minneapolis.
The purpose of the Candidate Forum is to give Minneapolis School Board voters an educational opportunity to hear candidates discuss the issues of importance to them in this election. The event is free and open to the public. The candidates will answer written questions from the audience during this moderated event. Written questions are also being accepted via email prior to the event at votersevices@lwvmpls.org. League of Women Voters Candidate Forums follow the nonpartisan, unbiased and impartial format established by the League of Women Voters Minnesota. A trained League member will moderate the forum. The League does not endorse or oppose political parties or candidates for public office.
